LJ-related stuff....

I just noticed that LJ now allows you to indicate whether your entry contains adult content...How long has this been up for? As for me, my LJ entries don't really have much "adult content" on them...unless "adult content" includes "adult responsibilities" which I don't even talk about that much either...it's so boring anyway ;-)
EDIT: intothebluagain, you and your friend are right, it's a result of the "changeover". Here is a link explaining the new system if you care to read it. Apparently, the policy is still very "in progress"

Also, it was not an easy decision to make, but I will not be renewing my paid account at this time. I love having a paid account, but right now my money situation is a bit tight, especially with the plane ticket purchase that I made...However, once I get myself squared away, I will definitely consider getting it again in a few months. So yeah, no more fun LJ-themes or awesome mood icons...but hopefully they'll be back on my LJ before long!

I think that was a development from LJ changing companies a week or so ago, and whatever that councilly thing they have to keep up appearances and "LJ-ness" formed. One of my other LJ friends noticed it too, less than a week ago

Yeah, that would make sense...but I also wondered if it was perhaps a result of that LJ "strikeout" controversy of a few months ago where they did a mass wipe of LJs that had sexually explicit content.
