Exasperated, my sister turned to the rest of the family and said, "Why don't you guys have smartphones!?" upon seeing that none of us had the technological means of looking up information on the Internet in the middle of the street.

I'm trying to hold off on getting one for as long as possible. But then part of me is like, "Oooh!! Shiny!!" But then I tell myself "Think of the higher phone bill you'll have to pay!!" and "You're practically addicted to the Internet as it is!!"
So yeah, I'm trying to hold off for as long as possible because I'm thinking that there will come a time when not having a smartphone will become a major inconvenience--not sure how, but somehow it will be. That's what happened with cell phones ;-)
