Yes, yes, I did get the news that "my boy" Apollo Ohno won "Dancing With the Stars." I must admit, that while I initially thought it pretty "low" of him to participate in a D-list celebrity dancing competition, I have to say, I'm pretty happy for him. And since he IS a speed skater, which does require a certain amount of grace, balance, and poise, it should come as no surprise that he's pretty good at dancing. As for him entering the competition in the first place...well, people have to eat and pay the bills somehow. So I raise my glass in congratulations and say, "You half-Japanese boys...you do it to me every time!" ;-) ;-)

Yay for your boy! And I presume the subject line is in reference to our discussion over the weekend...yeah, I wouldn't be half surprised if "my girl" showed up on the show in the not-too-distant future. :p
