Ok.
Why didn't ANYBODY tell me that the US Open was being held RIGHT HERE in freakin' PITTSBURGH!!
Ok, so maybe I'm not into golf, but still....it's a "Oooh, look at Pittsburgh" kind of event...and I happen to be living in that city, so next time...please inform a girl! ;-)

I think I was more upset that I didn't pick up any news of the fact that the US Open was in Pittsburgh...particularly through the local media outlets. And usually when Pittsburgh is in the news, you definitely hear about it. Figures that today, I saw that there was coverage of the US Open on the front pages of both Pittsburgh newspapers :-P

I was equally clueless about it (golf? wake me when they add body checks), but regardless, you'll be the first one to hear should the Stanley Cup Finals or other event that I care about be played in the Burgh of Pitt. :)

Anywayz, THANK YOU for letting me know about the Stanley Cup! ;-) So now I know that there will be another major sporting event here, and knowing is half the *mumbles something* :-P

dudette, when you said US Open, I almost got a heart attack until you said Golf...lol. because they have the Tennis US Open in late August/Early September through Labor Day weekend in Queens, New York...by the USTA National Tennis Center near Shea Stadium(I believe). I been there. even slammed some tennis balls there on the green courts. *psst..showing off but trying not to act like a braggart..oops already did--says anonymous tennis snob...sorta*.I would have been slightly disappointed if the USTA moved it away from NY but then again...Pittsburgh would have had all the excitement! :o)///
well if Tiger Woods is golfin and sayin "FOR!" then i suggest you bust out that camera and get thee to the golf courses and take them pictures!!!

We would NEVER take away the US Open (Tennis Editon) away from you guys...You pull it off much better! ;-)
As for the US Open (Golf Edition), I didn't know that it was in Pittsburgh until it was already over :-( (Ironically enough I found it through NG, who was lamenting that he didn't come to Pittsburgh this weekend to watch it)
