SONGS THAT MAKE YOU WANT TO...
Pick five songs that, for whatever reason, have some sort of special meaning to you, or that make you just want to... do something! They don't have to be your favorites necessarily, just ones that you associate with something!
THIS SONG MAKES ME WANT TO:
1. Raise my fist in angry defiance at a mass protest: "The Pretender" by The Foo Fighters
2. Do a tantalizing slow dance in a Caribbean dance hall, wearing a sultry 40's-style dress and a red flower in my hair: "Pablo in Red" by Augustus Pablo (I can't seem to find a video for this...and now I'm not even sure if I got the name of the song right)
3. Strut my stuff down a Hollywood street wearing designer clothes and sunglasses, knowing that I'm up to no good: "Flashing Lights" by Kanye West
4. Stare out the window of my 9th floor apartment in Japan and look out into the city below in the gray early morning: "Tommib" by Squarepusher
5. Appear in the closing credits of a movie after a happy ending: "Dandelion" by Rip Slyme

There are so many songs that bring associations to my mind, but these are just the ones that I happened to think of. Unfortunately, some of the associations I make are influenced by the videos, tv shows, and/or movies the songs appeared in, but still, it's made them all that more enjoyable for me. Anywayz, I'm curious about what songs other people will post!
