There's something about V.P. candidate Sarah Palin. I had a hard time putting my finger on it...
But I finally realized it and I've been itching to tell someone, so I'll post it on LJ:

Is it me, or does Sarah Palin remind you of Dolores Umbridge??

She reminds me more of what McGonagal would have been like at around thirty or forty, before Voldemort rose to power. A lady who spends her time moose-hunting isn't likely to be quite so fond of pink, and a lady who raised five wella-adjusted-looking children probably wouldn't be so interested in torturing them. That's just my little old Republican opinion, though.

You have a point there. Umbridge didn't have children and didn't seem to like them very much, which doesn't seem to be the case with Palin.

yeah i heard about her just last week lol. cuz i'm a retard in following the news and catching up with the presidential race,etc. as soon as i heard all this buzz about palin, I had to google her name..found it on wikipedia and I heard about how John McCain had thought about her back in february of this year....and that he had five other choices in mind from other states. most were governers. she's different.i guess that would be his answer to hillary not being in the race on the democratic side. so he prolly wanted the republicans to have the best of both worlds...sorta. i really dont know who will win. because she's in there its going to be a fight. i mean how many really like obama's running mate..the senator dude from delaware!! i heard she was a beauty queen back then and played sports. she definitely is someone whom most of america could relate to easily!! the republicans figured they need to get voters...why not have a woman vp to give america taht desire to have a woman sorta assisting wtih running the govt house! i'm not sure if i was clear in explaining that!! i already know who i'm voting for...i was mad at bush all these years..lol even so mad that my anger was distorted into believing someone else's trashy thoughts that he's a reptilian out to eat babies and destroy the world. sorry for telling you guys that all tehse years. i am repenting for that horrible act of talking about conspiracy theories amongst my friends in the way i did. i dont know what is the best penance for that. its safest to be low key and just read about health in the news. lol.
can you refresh who dolores umbridge is?was she someone who ran for election in the books? did she take over the ministry? or was she that annoying reporter that i wanted to whip my wand out everytime she destroyed our protagonists reputations? that is so mad weird how j.k. rowling finds her way in our daily lives.
